The packing utilised for normal deliveries depends upon the type of transport used (truck, railway, vessel), on the transit time and the anticipated climate conditions. Narrow and wide coils are normally delivered on pallets with vertical axis.
Specific elements of our packing are:
Wooden pallet
The size of a pallet depends upon the outside diameters of the coils and is appropriate for crane and fork lift handling.
PE - Foil
The PE-foil serves as protection against humidity, is ecologically friendly, recyclable and is marked accordingly.
VCI - Paper
The foil coated VCI-paper protects the steel from corrosion by corrosion inhibitors.
