The preservation of the environment as part of the company's principal objectives
The protection of the environment includes the following goals:
- to abide by legal guidelines and public laws designed to prevent harmful effects and negative impacts on the environment.
- to prevent damage to the environment by taking timely preventive actions.
- to make use of recycling
Preventive environmental actions shall be achieved through the cooperation between environmentally minded managers, the employees and the works council. The experience and knowledge of all the people involved are to be used and their environmental competence shall be further developed. Therefore, ThyssenKrupp Electrical Steel welcomes and supports initiatives and ideas of their employees or the works council aimed at fulfilling this company objective.
